Common SMS Issues

Not receiving SMS verification codes?

  • Check that your phone has cellular signal and SMS is enabled
  • Verify you entered the correct phone number
  • Check if messages are being filtered to spam/junk folders
  • Wait a few minutes - carrier delays can occur
  • Try requesting a new code if the previous one expired

Want to stop receiving SMS messages?

  • Text STOP to any Relay Works SMS number
  • You'll receive a confirmation that you've been unsubscribed
  • Note: This may affect SMS-based authentication features
  • You can re-enable SMS by contacting support

Concerned about SMS charges?

  • Relay Works doesn't charge for SMS messages
  • Your mobile carrier may charge based on your plan
  • Contact your carrier for information about your messaging rates
  • Standard message and data rates may apply

SMS not working with your carrier?

  • We support major U.S. carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc.)
  • Some smaller carriers may have limited support
  • Contact sms-support@relayworks.com if you're experiencing carrier issues
  • International SMS may not be supported
